Let us give your child an action-packed time during the summer. Our naturalists will involve, amuse, stimulate and inform your children. Spots are still available – see the different camp offerings below:

CRITTER CAMP
MON-FRI, JULY 9-13, AND/OR MON-FRI, JULY 30-AUGUST 3, 10AM-4:30PM (ENTERING GRADES 4-6)
Celebrate the wild in your child at Critter Camp, where kids focus on making both human and animal friends. Campers go behind the scenes and into the forest for a hands-on introduction to the extraordinary world of animals and nature. Fee: Members $375, Non-members $425
ENVIRONMENTAL ADVENTURE CAMP
MON-FRI, JULY 16-20, 10AM-4:30PM (ENTERING GRADES 5-7)
Explore the great outdoors! Through exploration of different habitats, our diverse live animal and permanent exhibits, and the science and technology tools available at the Center, we make nature come alive for your children. Active exploration, lessons, games, experiments, and activities combine for a learning adventure that help children gain a better understanding of the world around them. Fee: Members $375, Non-members $425
ARTS & ANIMALS EXPLORATION CAMP
MON-FRI, JULY 23-27, AND/OR MON-FRI, AUGUST 6-10, 10AM-4:30PM (ENTERING GRADES 4-6)
This exciting camp combines outdoor art activities with natural science enrichment, using live animals as art models and inspiration. Under the guidance of our Naturalists/Educators, your child explores, discovers, and learns while having a blast making art, hanging-out with animals, playing games, and generally soaking-up the wonders of nature. Fee: Members $375, Nonmembers $425
HALF DAY END-OF-SUMMER CAMP
MON-THURS, AUGUST 20-23, 9:30AM-12:30PM AND/OR 1-4PM (ENTERING GRADES K-3)
MON-THURS, AUGUST 27-30, 9:30AM-12:30PM AND/OR 1-4PM (ENTERING GRADES K-3)
These half-day camp programs are the perfect opportunity for your child to spend extended time at the Nature Center, making new friends, playing nature games, doing craft projects, and exploring our oasis of greenspace. Fee: Members $150, Non-members $200

The Greenburgh Nature Center is a 33-acre woodland preserve with trails, a pond, gardens, and outdoor animal exhibits, including a birds of prey aviary. Our indoor exhibits include a live animal museum with over 100 specimens, exhibit areas focusing on nature and the environment, a greenhouse with botanical exhibits, and a gift shop.
The Center offers programs for groups of all ages on a wide range of environmental topics, camps, adult programs, community events, and birthday parties, either here or at your location. We also have a wide range of volunteering opportunities for all ages and skill levels. The mission of the Greenburgh Nature Center is to offer inspiring, hands-on environmental education experiences, to foster an appreciation of nature, and to promote sustainable practices.
The Nature Center is located at 99 Dromore Road, off Central Park Avenue, in Scarsdale, NY. Parking is free, and handicapped parking is available. The Center’s grounds are open daily dawn to dusk throughout the year. The Center’s indoor exhibits are open daily except Fridays and a few holidays, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on weekends.
